Marooned
It's a very sad state of affairs when talented musicans can't get a break in the music industry. Many of these people sink beneath the metaphorical waves, and are never seen again. Some, thankfully, just keep trying. Blue Heat have kept on trying, and this CD is the result of their hard work.
How does one go about describing the sound of a unique band?
The music of Blue Heat is a big sound, firmly built on the foundation of the Galbraith
brothers, Barry and Graeme.
The three piece horn section, consisting of trumpet, trombone and saxophone, is
a luxury rarely seen today, and Richard Tankard's wild
keyboards add more than a little spice.
Add to this already potent mix the whisky-smooth vocals and razor-sharp guitar work of Marco Goldsmith, and you have a slick, funky and genuinely bluesy sound like no other.
