While the other members of Blue Heat strut their stuff around the stage, their rhythm king calmly manages the beat from behind the maze of his drum kit.
Barry has been with Blue Heat since the band's
original formation in 1991, when Marco was searching for
playing partners for a gig at the Ballarat Blues Festival. Marco and
Barry hit it off right away, as demonstrated by their memorable show
at the festival with Barry's Brother, Graham.
Barry has now become an integral part of the Blue Heat sound, both on and off the stage. During a show, he is the consumate professional, laying down the beat that drives the band. Offstage, he has a major role in writing the band's original material.
